Important Notice About Digital Products
RealScan provides digital property analysis reports and software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscriptions. These are non-tangible, irrevocable goods delivered instantly upon purchase. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing or purchasing reports.
1. Nature of Our Service
RealScan provides:
- Property Analysis Reports: AI-generated PDF reports with live MahaRERA data, risk assessments, and financial projections
- SaaS Subscriptions: Monthly or annual access to our platform with varying analysis credits
- Digital Delivery: All products are delivered electronically and are accessible immediately after payment
As these are non-tangible digital goods, they are not eligible for return or exchange once delivered, in accordance with Indian consumer law and standard digital goods practices.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds May Be Granted If:
- •Technical Failure: Payment was deducted but the report/service was not delivered due to a system error
- •Duplicate Charge: You were charged multiple times for the same transaction
- •Service Unavailability: The platform was inaccessible for more than 48 consecutive hours (subscriptions only)
- •Major Data Inaccuracy: The RERA registration number used was valid but returned completely incorrect project data due to our system error (must be reported within 7 days with evidence)
Refunds Will NOT Be Granted If:
- •You changed your mind after accessing the report
- •You disagree with the Trust Score, risk assessment, or AI analysis (these are opinions based on data)
- •The property data from MahaRERA itself is outdated or incomplete (we report what's in the government database)
- •You entered an incorrect RERA number and analyzed the wrong property
- •You purchased the wrong subscription plan
- •You did not use your subscription credits before expiry
3. Subscription Cancellation
How Cancellation Works
You can cancel your monthly or annual subscription at any time from your account settings.
- •Monthly Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You retain access until that date.
- •Annual Plans: No partial refunds. You retain access for the remaining months but won't be charged again.
- •Unused Credits: Analysis credits expire when your subscription ends and are not refundable.
Important: If you've used your plan (e.g., generated reports using credits), you are not eligible for a refund. Our service is delivered instantly upon use.
4. Refund Request Process
Contact Support
Email us at support@realscan.in with your transaction details
Provide Information
Include: Payment receipt, order ID, registered email, and reason for refund request
Review Period
We'll review your request within 5-7 business days
Refund Processing
If approved, refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method
Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are credited within 7-10 business days. Bank processing times may vary. For Razorpay payments, refunds typically appear in 5-7 business days.
5. Payment Gateway Policies
We use the following payment gateways:
- Razorpay (for Indian customers): Subject to Razorpay's terms and refund policies
- Stripe (for NRI/international customers): Subject to Stripe's terms and refund policies
For payment disputes, you may also contact your payment provider directly. However, refunds are only granted in accordance with this policy.
6. Chargebacks & Disputes
Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks cost us significant fees and processing time. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues promptly.
If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, we may terminate your account and you will lose access to all purchased reports and subscription features.
